CREATING A SMART GOAL

CREATING MY S.M.A.R.T. GOAL

SPECIFIC
  • Who is involved?
  • What do I want to accomplish?
  • Identify a location.
  • Establish a time frame?
  • Identify requirements and constraints.
  • Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of accomplishing the goal.
I want to receive a certificate or a plaque on Academic Awarding this grade 11. In order for me to achieve my goal, I need to have the highest mark in one or more of my classes on either semester. I want to achieve this goal because it would make my mom happy and it’ll serve as a proof to myself that I am good at something.
MEASURABLE
  • How much?
  • How many?
Study for at least 3 hours on weekdays and at least 5 hours on weekends.

ATTAINABLE
  • How can the goal be accomplished?
1)Use the agenda for organization.
2)Do all homework as soon as I get home.
3)Never do bigger assignments such as essays or ISU the day before it is due.
REALISTIC

I want to receive certification either in courses Mathematics or Science because I enjoy those subjects.
TIMELY
  • When am I going to start working on this goal?
I started working on this goal from the very first week of school and continue working for it.
